Tomorrow morning I'm off to Nashville, TN for a few days for work...aka I will not be in my typical groove. When I think of travel & airports, freshens, wolfgang puck and fastfood come to mind. I'm usually in such a rush that I will inhale anything that is edible, not a good habit if you ask me! To avoid these delicious fat traps, I decided to bring a long my own snacks instead of gravitating toward the first food kiosk I see. I will report back in a few days if I behaved ; )
Today's goal? A pantry face-lift. Time to toss the crap! Out with the old and in with the new! It's pretty simple, the less processed food I eat, the better I feel. Why can't I always live by that rule? Because I let my emotions get the best of me and I eat everything but the kitchen sink (really...). I am a firm believer in "everything in moderation". My goal is to be at peace with myself. Happy with who I am. Eating healthy makes me feel one step closer to that goal. I hit up Trader Joes & Whole Foods today for some goodies...check it ; )
With my life moving in a different direction, I thought it was time for my blog to move along with me. These past few months have involved a lot of change (graduated from college, new job, moved in with my now FIANCE, and being an "adult"...just to name a few!) and I am realizing that in order to keep up with the ever-changing pace I must take care of the most important thing, ME! I've recently been inspired by friends (real & blogger!) on their journey to health an happiness and I feel like now is as good a time as ever to conquer the demons I've been holding on to for years.
This blog will now be about the people and things that inspire me the most as well as my journey to achieving physical and mental well-being.
